An Ode to Phil by Clive Laudham

Created by Mark 6 years ago

For those who cant make the funeral,

I have posted an Ode below written by Clive,

the words sum up life and the desert,

as you all are aware Phil spent some

time in the middle east.

AN ODE TO PHIL

The wadi flourished with storm rains

Animals fed to relieve their pains

Suns rays heating, shrubs abound

Wadi changes, revives, new ground

Cycle continues throughout the seasons

Life expires, re-born, Gods reasons

Who can fathom this mystery of life

Desert dwelling, harsh with strife

The urge to move, another wadi

God guides our travels, instructs the body

As terrain is changing with the wind

We move, desert tracks rescind

As in life itself, we experience and find

But lessons learned escape our minds
